Hi there all

I have been subscribing to this list for some time now generally just to get
a 'feel' for how things are run & as it is my first time out here, I would
greatly appreciate any assistance that any of you could offer.

I am on the look out for any information with regard to the Nefdt family
here in South Africa (firstly and then secondly abroad). I am keen to trace
the genealogy of the Nefdt tree as far back as possible (my ultimate goal).

My grandfather John Henry Nefdt was born in Pietermaritzburg and moved up to
Springs where he now rests forever. According to my father, my grandfather
came from a family of 8, brothers and sisters. I am in the process of
contacting them but have had little success.

Again I will appreciate any assistance,
