I presume that this cemetery falls under what used to be known as the "City
of Bellville". (Forgive me for not knowing their present name). C o
Bellville was a very progressive Municipality, and I am sure that in the
'Old" days they would have released this database, even if they levied a
fee. The officials, who make many of the decisions, have not, to my
knowledge, changed extensively, and it should, therefore, be possible to
obtain a copy. It would probably be best for the GSSA to make a formal
approach.
I presume that because Mr Oosthuizen has a PC in his office, he is doing
this as part of his job. If however, it is his own PC and he is doing it of
his own volition, we should see what can be arranged privately. Sometimes
one needs to use "creative" methods.
