A few years ago I bought an old Dutch Bible (Nederlanden) on a jumble sale.
The inscription inside is:

Presented to Mrs The Wid. D.G. Ziedeman (maybe Zeedeman) by her
affectionate son-in-law (looks like)
A.W. Kenning.

Dated 19.10.88 (obviously 1888 as this bible was published in 1886)

The bible is in bad disrepair on the outside and the in inscription has
faded a bit, but if anyone recognizes this family and is connected in any
way, I'd be happy to send it to them.

Unfortunately there is nothing much else of interest barring some ancient
cuttings, poems and the like various publications and what looks like the
ribbon from a war medal approx two inches wide vertically striped in green
and white.

Contact me if you think it belongs to your family

Kind regards to all listers

Jo-anne Pritchard
