We are searching for William James, born in Cumbria, England probably
between 1870 and 1880. He moved to South Africa in the early 1900s.
Beleived to have served in the South African Territorial Police. We
have a photograph showing him in uniform with badge # 743 on the
collar.
He had three brothers- Edmund, John Henry(Jack) and Arthur T.
Parents are John James and Margaret James(nee Carruthers)
