I recently discovered, in a most unlikely place, a book dealing with the
history of the Orange River Colony and Natal History at the turn of the
Century. It gave names and information about all the important people of
the region such as mayors and their wives. Prominent business people and
sportmen etc.etc. The photography of places and buildings was in most
cases excellent.

The title is "TWENTIETH CENTURY IMPRESSIONS OF THE ORANGE RIVER COLONY AND
NATAL.
Published by Lloyd's Greater Britain Publishing Company 1906

I am curious to know if this book is widely known as a source book for the
Natal and O.R.C. regions?
