I'm back again after three months and keen to pick up where I left off.

DALY/VAN RYN
A note for Jenny Fawcett in Australia, who was looking for the Daly/van Ryn
connection ... thanks for your letter. I also saw your query in one of our
local Genealogical Magazines and hope that someone has been able to help. I
feel, however, that you will be very lucky to find Catherine Daly's family.
The story you relate is not familiar to any of my family and Catherine does
not appear in any of the correspondence I have had with other Daly families
in SA. Just in case there were name connections passed on to descendants, I
went through all the Daly and van Ryn/van Rhyn voters in SA (1989 roll) ...
sorry to say that I didn't find anything exciting.
