Subject: Obtaining Naturalisation documentation

I have a copy of my grandfather's Naturalisation Certificate indicating
that he was naturalised in Berlin (near King William's Town), in the
Eastern Cape Province in 1915.

Can anyone tell me how I can obtain a copy of the application
documentation that resulted in this Naturalisation? I have heard that
the Department of Home Affairs has this documentation. Is this
correct, and is there a specific sub-department and address in the
Dept. Home Affairs that I should contact for the information?
