Hi Karen,
There was a missionary by the name of Jean Pierre Pellisier who was in
those areas from 1831 onwards.
There is an old book about called "Jean Pierre Pellisier van Bethulie" by
S.H.Pellisier published in 1956 by BPK, Pretoria.
This is a history of his life with many references to the other
missionaries of the time.
