Many thanks your reply to my message. I have just gone onto the Internet
and apologise for the last message.
I am trying to seek details about my grandfather Hugh MacLaren Brown who
was born in Kimberley about March 3rd during the late 1880's early 1890's.
I do know that he came to Europe to fight in the 1914-18 war, I was also
told that he lied about his age to 'join up' so he may have been born
towards the late 1880's.

I was told that his father was working building the railroads throughout
South Africa. My grandfathers mothers name may have been Kirkwood. My
grandfather had two brothers one named Gordon MacLaren Brown.

Gordon MacLaren Brown died in Bryanston J.Burg about 20 years ago.

I hope this email arrives as it should.

Regards and thanks.
