Susan,
I call mail you a copy of the Nel pages from the DeVillers and Pama book,
if that would be of any help. It may not extend as far as your
g-grandmother's generation, but it may help once you can make the
connection.
My father has a friend for college days at the Univ of Natal, by the name
of Pierre Nel and he lives very close to you in Lynnhaven, Mass. I contacted
Pierre some months ago when I found out that I had Nel blood coursing
through my veins too, but he didn't know very much of the family tree. Said
his daughter was starting to look into some genealogy though.
Best wishes,
Jennifer Bell

PS. The Library of Congress has a decent amount of South Africa genealogy,
as well as the LDS. I've also gotten some great help from the people on this
list. Thanks everyone!
