Hi to Wendy and all on the SA list,
Thank you Wendy for your message and I will get in touch
with the Museum at Bishops Stortford. The reason I feel
I might have a connection to Cecil Rhodes is that the name "Rhodes"
pops up every now and again among the many names I have found
in my difficult journey through my STRODE family. In particular,
the curious similarity, or corruption of the two names RHODES
& STRODE being the name of the family homes for a number of
generations "STRODESIA"......... any thoughts from anyone on
the list would be welcomed
Kind regards,
Helen Mitchell (Aust.)
