Good Morning: Would be happy to assist &
trade research with you. There are families here in Johannesburg of
Davidow, Paradise & Swerdlow ( as it has become ). I would assume they are
of Jewish descent & there is a Jewish Genealogical Society in action, but on
a very limited basis.
I am interested in Dickason only. There appears to be a groupiong in
the South West, Texas, New Mexico & particularly in and around El Paso.
Some of them could be descendants from South African Boers who settled
there 1904 on land secured for them from Teddy Roosevelt. The prime mover
was one General Bejamin Viljoen, and he was later to remarry one Myrtle
Dickason. It is Myrtle that I'm particulary interested in at present. Regards,
Graham Dickason, Johannesburg.
