Can someone help with any of these please? Perhaps Marty and Eileen
Russell could look them up in DEUTSCHE IN KAFFRARIA/GERMANS IN
KAFFRARIA/DUITSERS IN KAFFRARIA for me please?

1. Carl Peter

Born in Warnitz, Prussia. Emigrated to South Africa in 1858 with 3 children
and presumably his wife though none is mentioned. Left Hamburg on ship
'Wilhemsburg' Captain C H Muller on 19 October 1858. Arrived East London
on 13 January 1859.Settled in Braunschweig near King Williamstown where he
became a farmer. Later, after losing his wife (belived to be Veronica
Pfeiffer), he re-married and bought the Izeli Hotel which he ran. He died
there - don't know when.

2. Ferdinand Albrecht

Born in Friederichsfelde, Germany. Married Wilhelmine - I don't know any
more but they must have come to SA because their daughter Suzanna Johanna
Albrecht was born in Izeli, Kingwilliamston, 27 November 1856. There were
four older children.

Can anyone help please?
