Another route would be to log on to the Family Tree Magazine Web site
at: http://www.kitecom.co.uk:80/genealog/family.html

Click on Book Service on this page and it will take you to the top
level menu of books and booklets for sale.

Click on : GIBSON GENEALOGICAL GUIDES

and you will find a booklet titled:
Marriage Census and Other Indexes (6th edition)
4.55 pounds sterling (overseas sea mail postage - you can pay by
credit card)

This booklet contains details of all the county marriage indexes
available for use for a small charge paid to the county Family History
Society involved.

You can also get back copies of the magazine. From the top level books
menu click on: MAGAZINE BACK COPIES

Overseas postal costs quoted are for sea mail, but if you want them
sooner, they will quote for airmail postage.

Another route is to log on to the GENUKI Web site at:
http://midas.ac.uk/genuki/

Click on Contents at the top left hand side of the first page and then
on the county of interest. Find the Family History Society and see if
they give details of their marriage index and other services. Some
will and others will not - in which case you will need the booklet
detailed above.

I hope this helps you,and others not familiar with English
genealogical sources.

Cheers, John
