Hi Gillian
The maiden name of my wife was RICK and there was a cluster of
families of this name in Newark, Nottinghamshire, England in the 1800's.

This will be of no immediate use to you but may help later. I
have done no search outside that geographical area and maybe there are
plenty of other clusters, so I just the give the information for what it
is worth !
