Seeking information/descendants of the following TYSON family members,
children of Frank TYSON and Elizabeth SANDERS, who migrated to SA in the
1890s/1900s.

Alfred TYSON, born 1872, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. Reputed to have
settled in Durban & had an Engineering Works. He married & had a son
George & a daughter (Sheila?). A relative rang the present firm called
'Tyson & Jackson' but they said they couldn't help with dates but that
Alfred had worked there but had died many years ago. (a family member
thinks Alfred & his wife went for a walk in Bulwar (?) Park - he felt a
bit tired ie sat on one of the benches, put his head on his wife's shoulder
& just passed away).

Jane (Jin) TYSON, born 1875, Launceston, Tas, Aus. Reputed to have married
a Thomas C. Taylor on the 15th of August 1902 in SA. Reputed to have
settled at Mossil Bay in the Cape.

Henry TYSON, born 1878, Launceston, Tas, Aus. Reputed to have worked in
the office of Lever Bros. A relative phoned the firm & was told their
records don't go back that far.

Percy TYSON, born 1879, Launceston, Tas, Aus. Married Florence BIDDINGTON
in SA pre 1908. Some descendants traced.

Ernest TYSON, born 1881, Launceston, Tas, Aus. Married Maggie BARNETT 28
Nov 1906 at Greyville, Durban, Natal. Reputed to have settled in Durban &
opened a chemist shop up at Toll Gate. Had 2 daughters - Jean & Eileen
(went to England, married and lived there?). Jean married but died in
childbirth?

Annie Ruth TYSON< born 1882, Launceston, Tas, Aus. Reputed to have married
a Sugar Farmer in Natal.

Please contact me if anyone can help.
