Trussie Covington

LATTA - Trussie Clyde Covington, 85, died Tuesday, December 30, 2003, in St.
Eugene Medical Center.

He was born in Bennettsville, a son of the late Trussie Clyde and Ethel
Belle Manship Covington. He was a retired merchant and a member of Latta
United Methodist Church.

Surviving are wife, Pauline Robertson Covington of home; son, Tristan Clyde
"T.O." Covington of Columbia; daughters, Marilyn Covington of Orlando, Fla.,
and Lisa C. Lupo of Columbia; grandchildren, Jesse Austin Covington and
Nikki Lupo.

He was predeceased by brothers, Harris K. Covington and Luther D.
Covington, and sisters, Mary Gibson Covington Husstess and Julia Louise
Covington Legette.

A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2004, in Hebron
United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by Kannady's Funeral Home of
Latta. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, January
1, 2004, from 7-9 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Latta United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 95, Latta,
SC 29565 or to Latta Rescue Squad, 107 West Bamburg St., Latta, SC 29565.
