Hello List :-)
I have been trying to find a date of death for William Riley Butler Sr.
He was born 7/26/1850 in Randolph County, NC but is buried in Mount Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Dillon, SC. All of his family was from Marion, SC. He was married to Indiana Rogers from Marion, SC.
I am hoping someone will read this that is either related or there is someone that can check the records in Marion or Dillon and see if there is a record of death. He was in the 1910 Dillon County census records living with his daughter Lizzie and her husband Hugh Barentine but seems to have disappeared after that. I assume he died since he wasn't in the 1920 census records.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!! If a copy of the death record can be obtained, I will gladly pay for the cost and for postage.
