I don't have the "Finklea, Exum, Purcell, Hyman:Their Roots and Branches",
but do have "Pioneers on the Great Pee Dee" by Mary K.O'Doherty.

The only information it contains on the Crawford family is found on pages 15
and 16.

On page 15 she is quoting from Deed Book B, p 118 - 121, 25 Feb. 1802 a
deed from William and John Finklea to Thos. T. Wickham in Marion Dist.
Hardy Crawford was a witness.

On page 16, M. Crawford witnessed the will of John C. Finklea in Monroe
County, ALA on 18 Aug, 1841.
