I'd like to post my interests in Schleswig Holstein.

My ancestors came from the Bad Oldesloe area at the end of the 19th and
beginning of the 20th Century. My Great Grandfather Josef ZIOTKOWSKI
married my Great Grandmother, Maria DIETZ, before 1903.

Maria reputedly died during the 1918 flu epidemic and Josef married again.
I believe the Ziotkowskis were originally from West Preussen but have no
evidence of this. If anyone has a connection or has come across this name
in any research I would be very interested to know. Ich kann auch Deutsch
sprechen und lesen.
