Ich forsche nach einem Georg/Jrgen Andreas HARTWIG, der 1701?-1715
Rittmeister fr Schleswig-Holstein Gottorf war. Ich habe einige Fragen
dazu, bzw.:

1. Um 1701-1703 ist es mglich, dass HARTWIG in dem Flecken Neumnster
war. (Da hat der Kontingentsstaab gesammelt.) In ungefhr dieser Zeit hat
er auch Dorothea Sophia SCHUMACHER geheiratet. Die HLT haben keine
Kirchenbcher fr Neumnster fr dieser Zeit mikrofilmt. Gibt es denn eine
gedrckte Quelle (zB Trauungsregister) dafr? Wenn ja, wie heit sie, und
wo knnte ich so was finden?

2. Ich habe einen sehr ntzlichen und interessanten Artikel ber den
Regiment von Hartwig gefunden, der 1936 geschrieben ist. Eine Quelle dafr
war die Staatsarchiv Kiel. Vom Internet sehe ich, dass es eine STADTarchiv
in Kiel gibt. Weit jemand, wo eine Bestand von der STAATSarchiv Kiel
heutzutage gefunden sein kann?

HARTWIG, SCHUMACHER (17. und 18. Jahrhunderte)


Hello Listers,

I am researching a Georg/Jrgen Andreas HARTWIG, who was a cavalry captain
(Rittmeister) for Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf from around 1701-1715. I have
a few questions that have come up in my search, and hope someone can answer
them:

1. It is likely that HARTWIG was in das Flecken Neumnster around
1701-1703. (That is where the staff of the contingent was located.) Around
this time he also married Dorothea Sophia SCHUMACHER. The LDS do not have
any microfilmed church records for this place and time period. Are there
then other, printed, sources for this? If so, what are they called, and
where could I find something like this?

2. I have found a very useful and interesting article about HARTWIGS
regiment. It was written in 1936. One of the sources it lists is in the
STAATSarchiv in Kiel (state archives). However, an internet search turns up
only a STADTarchiv (city archive). Does anyone know where the holdings from
the STAATSarchiv can be found today?
