Hello Pat,
here is information concerning the village of Falkendorf:
Falkendorf
9 Kathen (small houses) in the estate Rethwisch, parish Preetz. - School
with 90 children. - Residents: 54. - A village field is not present and at
the Kathen (small houses) are only Kohlhöfe. ( I guess the planted cole
there)
and Trent:
Trent (former Torente)
Village in Estate Lehmkuhlen, parish Preetz. It includes 9 Vollhufen and 25
Kathen (small houses). - School in Lepahn. - Among the residents are 1
cobbler, 1 taylor and 3 weaver. - Area with Trenthorst and Stauung: 1059
Tonnen, with 860 Tonnen arable farm land, 91 Tonnen meadows, 158 Ruthen
small wood, 31 Tonnen moor, 29 Tonnen water, 18 Tonnen ways, 20 Tonnen
gardens, 6 Tonnen residential- and farms area and 84 Ruthen loam- and sand
pits. Western of teh village lies the Trenter-lake, which has an area of
approx. 30 Tonnen. The soil is almost end-to-end a good wheat soil. - In the
year of 1220 was Thetlevus von Torente mentioned, who was probably in
ownership of this village in those days. - In the fields have been found
relics of the past.
