I have found that there are two William Hendricks in South Carolina during
the 1730's. One William Hendrick married the Widodw Purchase Spry. He died
around 1739 per a settlement in South Carolina Council JOurnals Vol 1, p.
141.

The William Hendrick Will dated 1749 was the son of John Hendrick and Mary.
He married Mary Vanderhorst as his first wife and Mary Simes daughter of
John Simes per the Renounciation of Dower, 1740 - 1787. The Renounciation
was dated 1743.
