Someone on the list asked about Pee Dee Baptists.

For those who are near an LDS family history center, you may be interested to
know that this book is on one microfiche No. 6067151. Each microfiche can be
ordered through your FHC, and each costs 15 cents.

The title of the book is Minutes of the Union Meetings of Ebenezer, Elim
..... etc (including High Hill Creek), and it is by Thomas E. Smith. The
description is that it treats mostly of Baptist Churches in the early 1800s
in Florence, Darlington, and Marion Cos.

If you have a good State Library, its possible you may be able to borrow the
book on interlibrary loan.

The Fam History Library Catalog is on

www.familysearch.org

(I have the CD-ROM version, March 2000 version, which cost me all of $5.00 at
LDS, and it allows for keyword search, which I believe the online catalog
does not. I typed in Pee Dee and Baptists and came up with the title--but I
didn't take down the FULL title, which is a mouthful.)

When I am puzzled about a record or a book dealing with family history, I
turn to the Family History Library Catalog. If they don't have something on
the subject, then I know I am in big trouble!!!
