A must for all researchers on South African history.

AFRICAN SUN MeDIA, the electronic publishers of the University of
Stellenbosch, has published a CD database on 1 April with a complete
listing of all publications (books, articles and unpublished theses)
on history in general that were written in Afrikaans or Dutch
for South Africa in the period 1875-1998. All titles are
translated into English to enable students and researchers who do not
understand these two languages to take note of what research has already
been done and what publications are available in their field of interest.
The database has both an authors and a subject catalogue. There are
56 subject headings in the subject catalogue. On the authors list
the use of keywords would enable a searcher to find items in either
English, Dutch or Afrikaans. There are 4500 items in the authors
catalogue.

The database is very user friendly and all necessary software
are included.
