My father in law sailed to England in 1914 with one of the Contingents of this group. it consisted of men who had remained in SA after the A/B War but who did not want to fight under Louis Botha, preferring to return to England and rejoin their old Regiments.
Anyone know more about this Legion?
I have some cuttings.
