Subject: Need information on RIVERSDALE

I'm looking for some information on the town RIVERSDALE and its origins. I
understand that it was named after Sir Harry RIVERS in 1838. I believe
Harry was born at Fulham, England, the son of Francis RIVERS and Mary HOUSE.

It appears he moved out to South Africa and married and had children. I
believe he was quite high up in the Government.

Does anyone have any info about Sir Harry? I'd be very grateful to hear
from you.
