April Blakely & others,
This is fine news that your great grandmother was a nurse with Plumer's
Force. Geoff Quick has been looking into B.S.A.P. in this area. Rob Burrett has
published some works on the Tuli area recently and Peter Millington has done a
mighty job in the area from Crocodile Pools, Lobatsi and Sefikile Pan. Right
now, I'm reading in the Cape Times Weekly Edition for the latter part of 1899
and am now at March 1900. If you would like to give me your great grandmother's
name, I'll keep a watch for her but so far, I must admit, I haven't run across
the names of any nurses yet.
I would like very much to hear more from you and possibly compare some
notes.
Regards,
Ken Hallock
