I have not used the book Janet suggests, but have used the QUE books on
Excel, Powerpoint and Word. All are excellent and well worth the money. I
have taught myself how to do spreadsheets, and powerpoint presenttations
using them. I manage a business center for a major hotel, and whenever a
question arises from a guest and I don't know the answer I turn to these
books. I have learned a lot through them. I found mine at Sam's Club, but I
know some of the other stores such as Media Play, Best Buys also carry them.
To me they are much better than any of the Dummies books and very easy to
follow.

Jim.........

What you need is a "Good" book about the Excel program......... In my
opinion, the "Teach Yourself Visually" or the "Simplified" series by
Maran Graphics http://www.maran.com is the best....... I call the
"Teach Yourself Visually" series.... the kindergarten level....... The
books can be found at Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com..... Maran Graphics
has a number of other computer books in addition to the Excel book........
I plan on purchasing the "Teach Yourself the Internet and World Wide Web"
and giving it to my mother who will turn 86 in a couple of weeks..... She
keeps talking about getting a laptop..... who knows........
