Help! On 2/5/01, I sent a request to California for a copy of a birth
record which I saw on-line. Nothing happened, so I sent a second request on
5/30/01 and marked it "second request." Still nothing as of 6/29/01, so I
called the customer service and waited on "hold" for fifteen minutes.
Decided that was not good use of my time. I realize that their instructions
indicate that it takes between 12-14 weeks after the recipt of the request
to issue a certified copy of a birth records, but "other" requestors imply
that they have had good results. I know, "it's in the mail" but the checks
have not cleared! Any suggestions?
