To let you all know that Leona did call me this a.m. and we talked for an hour or more. She has a lot of information and stories, which I hope that she will give to all of us. She is a retired school teacher and apparently has worked on the Rogers and related families for years. she does have the Rogers Group e mail , so hopefully she will join us. Lea

5-12-01 Welcome to the Rogers family in the NWest. I am very new on Email so please bear with me. I am on the Roger line twice. Once through Wm. and also his brother David who married twin sisters. I am writing you just now by memory . I am referring to the sons of John Rogers who was Ann Britton's husband.

The name Ann was given to me by privately kept records made by Stephen Henderson Rogers. He used numerous sources. Probably word of mouth or handed down family records. I do not know where he came up with the name. I do not know how it was or if it has been verified.

I would enjoy talking with you on the phone. However, there has been a number omitted from your letter.
