Hi Everyone,

My maiden name is HAIGH. Next to the HAIGH headstone in the Moshassuck
Cemetery in Central Falls there is a BESWICK headstone. About 15 years ago
my aunt told me that we HAIGH's are related to these BESWICKS. My sister
found a letter from our dad about four months ago, written in the 1970's
and my dad mentioned in the letter that he saw the BESWICK Building in the
1930's and he said that my great grandfather BESWICK built it. But because
of the date it was build, a great Uncle
BESWICK may have had it built.

I would like to know if anyone knows anything about the BESWICK Building
and who had it built and any other info about it.

Or does anyone know how I can find information on it! I did find one
article on the web that refers to the BESWICK Block and building.

I have copied and pasted the web site and the parts about the BESWICK Block
and Building below.

I would appreciate any information.

I live in Ventura County, California and if anyone needs help from this
county let me know.

"Were not in a situation like we were three years ago, when there are
buildings in eminent danger of being demolished," said Mowrey, PSP secretary.

It's the third year for Pawtucket's endangered list, designed to bring
awareness of pieces of Pawtucket history that are at risk of vanishing forever.

The only addition to the list was the McDevitt Building, the three-story
brick building downtown that once housed McDevitts department store. It was
paired with the BESWICK Block since their located next to each other. Like
the BESWICK Building at 3 Exchange St., the McDevitt Building is largely
vacant.

4. BESWICK Block, 3 Exchange St. This three-story brick building facing
Times Square was built in 1891. Also added to the list is the McDevitt
Building, which abuts the BESWICK Building.
