I found a good clue on a line today and am hoping someone can help. I have
a Rosalie Lapoterie Gordan (aka Rosalie Gondeu), b. 25 Mar 1813, d. 28 Dec
1912. She married Joseph John Wilford on 18 Sep 1849 (either Coopersville,
or Chazy, NY). Her parents are probably Francis Gaudron Lapoterie, b. c
1787 in Canada, and Rosalie Morin, b c 1791, Canada.

I'm looking for the parents of Joseph, and the lines for her parents. The
marriage of her parents were surely after 1799 and will not be listed in the
PRDH. Yet, neither does the PRDH list a Francis Gaudron Lapoterie. The
pull for Rosalie Morin nets quite a hand full of possibilities, but I've
nothing to differentiate between them. Would some kind soul let me know the
info I seek? Joseph's parents, and Rosalie's grandparents.
