Hello List...........I am hoping there is someone out there that will be able to help me with this problem.

I have a Jean-Baptiste GOGUET/GOYETTE married to Desanges SAUREL/SOREL/LEVEILLE-CHOREL on 11 Feb 1771 in Boucherville, Chambly.
He then married Josette GELINOT/GELINEAU on 14 Aug 1786 at St-Antoine de Pade, Longueuil and is listed in the repertoire as "vf de Françoise Laporte".
There is no record in PRDH for this marriage, nor is there a record of Desanges' death.
He is the son of Jacques GOGUET/GOYETTE and Marie-Suzanne BRAY-LABONTE.
His marriage certificate to Josette GELINOT/GELINEAU in PRDH #345466 indicates:
03 Françoise Laporte spouse of 01 d
His father is present but his mother's name is not on the certificate and there is no record of her death.

Was Jean-Baptiste GOGUET/GOYETTE ever married to a Françoise LAPORTE?????????
