When you refer to the "Quaker Book" in the Adrian library, are you referring
to the book of Michigan Quaker records that was published by Conrad and Ann
Burton? In that book there are several mentions of a minister by the name of
Edwin Niles or Edwin J. Niles--usually to mention that he has visited some other
Meeting. In 2 places it mentions the names of Edwin J. Niles and Ida Ryan
Niles. The way I read it, it sounds like they are husband and wife, and both
recorded ministers. The first 2 mentions of Edwin & Ida are in 1901 and
1906--then in 1912, they are shown as having gotten a certificate to move to
Washington State and transfer their membership there. Is it possible that Ida Ryan
was a 1st wife and Rosanna
Derbyshire was a 2nd wife?

Actually the name Rosanna Derbyshire is in the Michigan records (Adrian &
Rollin Meetings) but from an earlier time period. In the 1840's a Rosannah
Derbyshire was disowned for marrying someone named TOWN and in the 1860 there was a
Rosannah WOOD who married someone named DERBYSHIRE.
