Thank you for this information and also to Dan for the Mendenhall
discussion on Thomas. Familysearch has both Thomas and Edward as
Laurence's children but had a lot of very wrong dates, plus I have
learned years ago to take their information with a grain of salt. Has
anyone actually searched the parish records in the Bristol area and
Cheshire areas for either Thomas or Edward Pierson and
ancestors/descendants? A clue might surface for Mary's parentage in the
process.
