At one time Pasadena had three different Friends Meetings. It still has a
one Meeting (originally Hicksite) located at 526 E Orange Grove Blvd,
Pasadena, CA 91104.
The Conservative Friends Meeting was at Villa Street and Oakland Avenue and
was laid down in the mid-1980s.
There was also the First Friends Church on East Orange Grove Boulevard but
it too changed to another denomination in the late 1980s or 1990s. Some of
their records may be found at Whittier College in the Wardman Library Quaker
Archives.
The American Friends Service Committee Bookstore is located at 980 North
Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena, Ca ph 626-791-1978.
However, the query was for the Pasadena Monthly Meeting and that was the
Conservative Meeting, part of Iowa Yearly Meeting of Friends.
