You refer to a Hawkins that was a councilor to Wm. Penn. I have never
heard this. What Hawkins are you talking about?
My immigrant Hawkins, Jeffery and family, arrived with Penn on the
Welcome in 1682.

Subject: [Q-R] Looking For Hawkins

about 1856. He died in 1889 in North Branch, Jewel Co., Kansas. I'm
wondering if he could be a descendant of the Hawkins who was a councilor to
William Penn. Does anyone know where I could look up the descendants of
that Hawkins? Thanks for your help. Lyn Noe
