I have always seen so much about Simon Hadley and his descendants posted
to this list and only within the last few weeks did I discover that the
Spencer Iredel HADLEY who married Louisa Warner ECROYD (my great aunt)
was descended from Simon HADLEY. In my Ecroyd, Warner, and Morris
Genealogy book it states "The names of the parents of Spencer I. Hadley
are not known........."

When I entered the surname ECROYD to search at the RootsWeb's World
Connect Project, I came across Louisa Warner ECROYD in a gedcom
submitted by the Hadley Society c/o Terry McLean. I found that Spencer
Iredel HADLEY was a son of John Long HADLEY by his second wife Winnie
Lawrence WARDEN.

I won't list any more of his ancestors, but if there is any one
interested in the marriage of Spencer Iredel HADLEY and Louisa Warner
ECROYD, I would be very glad to hear from you.
