Some time back [ one computer and several crashes ago ] I was in contact
with a Mr. Nigel Batty-Smith in England and a COURTENAY researcher. I
downloaded a GEDCOM from his research and we corresponded several times
about the supposed marriage of Elizabeth COURTENAY and Sir Humphry AUDLEY.
According to the best research [ according to Mr. Batty-Smith ] Elizabeth
COURTENAY married Sir John LUTTRELL. Mr. Batty-Smith never heard of a
connection to the AUDLEY or HADLEY lines. I wish I still had the information
to hand. I think I do have some of our correspondence in my files.
