Can anyone help me solve some problems with this line. I have been
through Hinshaw's Encyclopedia of Quaker Records both in paper form and
yesterday on the FTM CD.

I received some pages from a family history that has this line
1. William DRAPER - born and lived in England
2. Son, Peter DRAPER born ca 1650 in England. He came to VA ca 1675, as
a Quaker, and was married in VA. around 1700 he went to NC and died
there but no date.
3. Peter born ca 1650 had a son Peter born 4 Feb 1685 who married 17 Mar
1715 Hannah Albertson d/o Peter and Ann (Jones) Albertson in Perquiman's
Creek Monthly Meeting NC.
They list Millicent m. 1772, Silas m 1773, Thomas b. 1755 m 1779
and Joseph m 1766 as children.
(none of the above is documented, except for marriage date of Millicent,
Silas, Thomas and Joseph). Thomas DRAPER's stone has his death date and
how old he was so he would be born in 1755.

I can prove from Thomas DRAPER to the present my line but can not prove
the ancestors back. I can not find the marriage of Peter and Hannah in
Perquimans MM records. I also believe there may be a generation left
out as Peter b. 1685 would have been 70 when Thomas was born and
children would have been born twenty or more years after his marriage to
Hannah, based on dates of their children's marriages.

Someone else send me the birth date of Peter, father of Millicent,
Silas, Thomas and Joseph, as 15 Jun 1715. (no documentation)

Peter and wife produced a certificate from Monthly Meeting in Isle of
Wright County, VA dated 5 Dec 1753 and I believe this Peter to the
father of Millicent, Silas, Thomas and Joseph.

Are there records found that are not in the first 6 volumes of Hinshaw's
Encyclopedia of Quaker Genealogy for VA and NC?

I believe the early DRAPERs were probably Puritans and converted to the
Society of Friends in VA. Can not prove!
