Thank you all for your help so far. Here is what I know about the family.
They moved to from NC to CA between 1909 and 1912 and I am trying to figure
out if they where still Quaker or not when they did it.

>From Vol 1 of The Encyclopedia of Quaker Genealogy I have:

Greensboro mm p. 615
Thomas Lockey Elliott, s. Ezekiel & Miriam (Lassiter),
b 5-5-1871
Martha D. Elliott, dt. Stephen P. & Sarah (Dobson)
Hodgin. b. 2-14-1875
married 3-19-1893
ch:
Thomas Floyd b. 1-25-1894
Edna Estelle 6-16-1894
Dale Hodgin 3-8-1897
Stamey Lee 5-13-1898
Kemp McCoy 1-29-1900
Martha Fern 5-28-1903
James Arnold 6-22-1905
Miriam 2-1-1908

from other sources I have four more children:

Sarah Bradshaw b. 1909 in Guilford Co., NC
John Gilbert b. 1912 in Orange Co., CA.
Robert Norman b. 1914 in Orange Co., CA.
Vivian Pearl b. 1917 in Orange Co., CA.

Why wouldn't Sarah Bradford have been on the list of children? When the
family left for CA or left the meeting altogether would the Greensboro MM
have recorded them leaving? What MM would they have joined in Orange Co.,
CA? This is all strange to me because my Ggrandfather James Arnold never
said a thing about having been Quaker.

Thank you again,
Rebekah
