My grandfather Tucker Randolph Pryor was a Christiadelphian until his death
a few years ago. I understand that this sect is an off-shoot of the Quaker
church. His grandparents, John Winston Randolph and Virginia Booker
Chappel Randolph, and John's brother [Henry] Frank Randolph deeded 1 acre
of land in 1900 for the present Bethany Christiadelphian Church to be built
near Shannon Hill in Goochland County, Virginia, but a meeting (whether
Christiadelphian or a more 'standard' Quaker ilk, I don't know) seems to
have been organized in the area as early as 1832, according to some
Goochland County sources. Other families that were (and are) associated
with this church seem to be, for the most part, historically Quaker
families: Payne, Winston, Woodson. Does anyone have information about this
group those that preceded it in this area? A partial lineage for John
Winston Randolph is:
George Payne m. Mary Woodson
Josias Payne (b.10/30/1705, d.1785), m. 1732 Anna Fleming
Josias Payne, Jr. (b.1735) m. 8/23/1755 in Goochland Co., VA Elizabeth

John Winston Payne (b.6/20/1784, d.11/19/1850) m. 12/24/1807 Mary Gilliam,
