In response to James Adkins' query about Isaac Green Pennington, Burton
Pennington and the related families of Hager, Yeager and Moore: These
descendants of Pennington Research Association's family Group 26:
Descendants of William Pennington, Sr. (1750-1821) of Monroe Co., WV.
Isaac Green Pennington (1822-1890+) was the son of James and Martha Drury
(Waddle) Pennington, son of Wheeler and Mary (Swinney) Pennington, son of
William Pennington, Sr. (1). Isaac married Arrena Miller about 1842 in
Mercer County, WV, where they lived until just before the 1860 census, when
they are found in Louisa, Lawrence County, KY. In 1870 they had returned to
WV, enumerated near relatives in Loudon, Kanawha Co., WV. By the 1880 census
they had moved near his brother, Gordon E. Pennington, in Lincoln Co., WV,
where Isaac appears on the 1890 verteran's census.
