My SCHOONOVER/VAN SCHOONHOVEN ancients also married with many of these same
surnames -- SWARTWOUT's, DECKER's, WESTFALL's, BRINK's, VAN DENMERKEN's, VAN
AKEN's, VAN ETTEN's, CORSA, GARRIS. It would be very interesting to learn more
about the migration patterns of our ancients from the Minisink area and I hope
others will share that info.

My "SCHOONOVER's" moved from Kingston, NY to the Minisink area via the "Old
Mine Road", and later continued to the west. My g-g-g-g/f Nicholas SCHOONOVER,
wife #2 Anna and eight adult kids migrated from Pike Co. to settle in
Illinois, arriving in the 1840's. I'm curious of their exact route. Any ideas would be
welcome.

Hope to see migration info of others.
