Christian Myer is listed in the 1880 Enumeration for Palmyra Township, Pike
Co. (This is not like the other census formats) It shows Christian 44,
Matilda 28.Mary 6,William 3. He shows on the military rolls for 1882;
he shows on the Return of Taxes for Palmyra 1896 and 1897. His son,
William, shows on the military list for 1904. Christian would have been too
old by then. Christian MEYER is buried in the Paupack Cemetery 4/12/1908 age
73 years of pneumonia. No other Meyer or Myer is buried in the cemetery.
Can't help you about Germany.
