I believe I have SCHOONOVER's from Pike Co., PA.
My line is as follows:

Claes Hendrickse VAN SCHOONHOVEN 1629 and Cornelia FREDERICKSE to --
Hendrick Claessen VAN SCHOONHOVEN 1652 and Cornelia SWARTWOUT 1667 to --
Niclaes VAN SCHOONHOVEN 1694 and Pieternella WESTFAEL 1713 to --
Ezekiel SCHOONHOVEN 1742 and Hannah CORSA 1752 to --
Nicholas SCHOONOVER 1775 Susannah LANE 1781 to --
Jacob SCHOONOVER 1799 and Sarah 1800 to --

James Marion SCHOONOVER 1859 and Barbara HOWELL 1856 to --
Harry Omer SCHOONOVER 1896 and Barbara EILBECK 1903 to --
Robert James SCHOONOVER.
Claes arrived in Manhattan, NY in 1650 from Schoonhoven, the Netherlands
and then moved up the Hudson River to Kingston, NY where my Van
Schoonhoven's lived until about 1715. The Schoonover family name comes
from this city of Schoonhoven and evolved to Schoonover by the
mid-17001s. Subsequent generations of my family migrated from Kingston,
NY to Sussex Co., New Jersey in 1715-1725 and on to Pennsylvania. Nicholas
(born in 1775), eight of his children and 54 of his grandchildren migrated to
Mason County, Illinois by the mid-1840's. James Marion moved to Nebraska
in 1899 and Harry Omer came to Minneapolis in 1933.

I would like to share information -- please reply if
any names look familiar.
