Hi:

I could use some help if anyone has any available.

I'm looking for the will of Isaac Ramsey. He and his wife, Barbra Keener
Ramsey, lived and raised their family in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. He was
born in 1817 and supposedly died in 1866, however I find him listed as living
in the 1870 Mill Creek, Mercer County Census records. I'm trying to prove
that he was the father of James Alexander Ramsey (my Great-Grandfather).

Does anyone have access to a death index or cemetery records? I don't want
you to do the research for me, I just need to find a source where the
information may be located? If you know of a book or microfilm record that
might help, please let me know. I'll try and get the book on interlibrary
loan and send for the microfilm.

1 female, age 40-50 (a wife or a sister)
1 female, age 10-15 (a daughter)
1 female, age 5-10 (a daughter)
3 females, <5 (daughters)

Jacob G. Ramsey was born in 1805. He would be 35 years
old in this census which makes him the male, age 30-40.

1 male, age 15-20 (could this be a brother?)
1 male, age 5-10 (a brother or brother-in-law?)
1 male, age <5 (his son, Daniel?)
1 female, age 15-20 (his wife, Barbara)

Isaac and Barbara married in 1838. Their son Daniel was
born in 1839 and would be the male listed as less than 5
years of age. As for the other 2 males listed in the home,
I can only surmise that they may be younger brothers or
brothers-in law.
