Thanks very much for the input...I visited the Berks Genealogical Society
last summer, and made some breakthroughs...this time I'll do the Historical
Society (I visited their web site...looks impressive and maybe it'll be a
vehicle for more breakthroughs).

p.s. The Berks County collection at the historical society also has
Schuykill information.

The Berks County Genealogical Society is on Washington Street in
Reading...and it is very good.
