You could check the Philadelphia City Archive web site

(http://www.phila.gov/phils/Docs/Inventor/genealgy.htm) and check if they have your specific
information.

If you get a specific date you can then contact The Free Library of
Philadelphia web site and click on ASK THE LIBRARIAN give them the information and
they will look for an obituary for you. They charge you $1.00 when they
send you the info. I hope this will be of some help.
